Is New York Magazine Turning Teen Vogue?

Not a question we'd normally think to ask since fashion magazine Teen Vogue is about a bizillion ads and scented inserts and boney chicks and New York Magazine, well, it's more like a frosty cold cosmo on a hot day on the Upper West Side.

Anyway, the reason this question comes up is because Adam Moss (New York Magazine's publisher) is spending a LOT of money to update their website, put in a special issue for the fashion show, and is going to produce a "Runway Rankings" contest.  Which is exactly what it sounds like.

What I want to know is, will this magazine continue to enjoy enormous renewal rates (it rivals any magazine in the industry) if it becomes less, well, Manhattanite Snooty (tm) than it is today?
