When you go to renew your magazine subscriptions, do you price shop? My wife just fills out the darn card and sends it in with the "bill me later" option checked, which means I have to send a check and have no idea what was a good price.
So I got to thinking about Magazine Renewal On The Cheap (tm). Ha! In the web boom days we'd have been able to raise $20 million on that idea. Now I just want to float the idea to you.
For example, I was able to find Weight Watchers for $8.94 and for $7.39. Now, I don't know about you, but I'll make a special trip to the grocery store to save a buck and a half on ground beef. So, I'm thinking that a public service website where you can fill in your magazine subscriptions, when they're due, and it will email you a month or two before hand with the best deals on the web for magazine subscriptions.

I have just created a website where you can set up your own email magazine reminders. The service is free. It does not yet offer the best pricing deal that you advocate for in your blog, but if I can get enough people to sign up for the service maybe I will have the leverage with the magazines to offer that some day.
The site is:

If you have any questions, you can reach me at fred.jonas@magazinereminders.com
Thanks.
This service also exists at http://www.magsn.com. It is the "transfer service" It's also free and easy to use and also gives you an option to renew online at a cheap price.
Pretty nice post. I just stumbled upon your blog and wanted to say that I have really enjoyed browsing your blog posts. In any case I’ll be subscribing to your feed and I hope you write again soon!
